North American Tire & Retread Expo 2026: "All-Weather" Tires Redefine the Market

NEW ORLEANS, USA – Feb 13, 2026 – The North American Tire & Retread Expo (NATRE) opened its doors today in New Orleans, with industry leaders signaling a major shift in consumer buying habits: the rapid rise of the "All-Weather" tire category.

Unlike traditional "All-Season" tires, which often struggle in snow, the new generation of All-Weather tires carries the 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) symbol, certifying them for severe snow conditions while remaining durable enough for summer driving.

"The days of the bi-annual tire changeover are fading for many drivers in the northern states and Canada," said Mark Henderson, a senior analyst at the expo. "Consumers are demanding convenience without compromising safety. We are seeing a 25% year-over-year increase in SKU orders for All-Weather products from major retailers."

The expo also highlighted the resurgence of the Retreading sector. With raw material costs fluctuating, commercial fleet managers are increasingly turning to high-tech retreading solutions to extend tire lifecycles. New automated buffing and curing technologies displayed on the show floor promise to make retreaded tires safer and more consistent than ever before.

"Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword; it’s an economic imperative for trucking fleets," noted a representative from the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB). "Every casing we save is money in the bank and one less tire in a landfill."
